Strange Brew

Strange Brew was founded upon the intention of funky jams, fresh grooves, and good times. Founded in Boston, MA by good friends Steve Malinowski, Josh Carter, Jonathan Ellington, and Ben Teters, Strange Brew spent some time in Asheville, NC this summer writing, recording, and performing all throughout the great city. Within two months Strange Brew found themselves headlining some of the best venues in North Carolina. They were also asked to do an acoustic radio show for 98.1 the river, one of the biggest radio stations in the area (98.1theriver.com). Strange Brew is very excited to announce their plan to record a full album this fall. Strange Brew is moving back up to Boston, where they all attend Berklee College of Music. Collectively these guys have been learning from the same musicians who have played with the Allman Brothers, Maceo Parker, BB King, and Susan Tedeschi to name a few. Strange Brew hopes to spread the good love and funky vibes with their sound and message. Keep in touch as Strange Brew will be sharing clips from their upcoming album.
